A photographic archive by Christian González, meticulously documenting the grace, discipline, and evolution of former students and teachers at the O2 Yoga Mexico studio in Mexico City, which is no longer active.
This small selection of photos from the full archive, captured across a significant five-year period, from 2015 to 2020, serves a dual purpose: it is a powerful visual testament to the studio’s legacy and the physical artistry of its community, while simultaneously illustrating the learning curve, technical and social skills required for capturing high-level yoga asanas over time.
This project was made possible only through the unwavering trust and generous access granted to me as staff photographer by the studio founder and her business partner. This allowed me to capture the moments that define this collection, an opportunity for which I will be forever grateful.
